A book about a Muslim boy and his sister, Ayesha who encounter teasing at their new school, mostly because Ayesha covers her hair. The bullies taunt them by telling them to "go back to your own country" and by tugging on Ayesha's headscarf. Bilal starts off school by announcing his name is "Bill" in order keep his Muslim identity a secret, but after he stands up to the bullying, he comfortably shares his real name. This is a great book for refugee or immigrant students who are struggling with their identity as Muslims.
